Fires, tornadoes, floods and other natural disasters have the ability to damage your home and destroy all of your contents, including family photographs, personal papers and other important documents. Greg Jones, a State Farm agent spoke to MCZ listeners about how to prepare for this situation and protect the contents of your home.
He gave the following tips:
1. Fill out the inventory check list that most insurance companies provide to homeowners. 2. Take digital photographs or video the contents of your home.
3. Send copies of important papers and photographs to family members. you should also transfer photographs to a memory card or a cd and store in a fireproof safe.
For more information listen to Greg's entire segment in the Comfort Zone Radio Show section on the menu. Go to show (2) and click to listen. Greg Jones is the owner of the Greg Jones Agency in Moore, Oklahoma
