Pull out photographs of you and your loved one and place them around your home in crystal or glass frames. Photos of a kiss, an embrace or just holding hands are nice ways to add a little spark to your relationship and take you down Memory Lane. Setting the tone for romance includes something for your tummy. Keep healthy and yummy treats on hand or display them in a beautiful covered crystal cake plate. Even a bowl of fresh fruit can be romantic, when you add a side of yogurt or chocolate for dipping. Bake a cake, cookies or buy some from your favorite bakery and lovingly display them on the kitchen counter sliced for easy serving. Fill your bedroom with laughter. Place whimsical decorative items around that will bring a smile to your face. Layer your bed with soft sheets, pillows, blankets and add a thick down mattress pad to create a softness that will make you feel like you’re in a Five-Star hotel. Set the tone in your room for relaxation, and you’ll be able to unwind and enjoy the space. Bringing back a smile Nothing brings a smile to my face quicker than a bundle of fresh flowers or a bunch of gladiolas. I enjoy arranging them in new and interesting ways. And one long-stemmed rose placed on a plate near your bed or in a crystal vase is very romantic. Ask your local florist for a small vial-like container that you can slip the flower into that also holds a little water, that way you can place it in an unusual place and it will still survive. The key here is to add softness, texture and whimsy to your living space in order to create an inviting mood. Follow my instructions and you can bring sexy back into your home. Now go out and create your own unique Comfort Zone!
